Pepper's dam, Doc Alena Ember, is a well built, stacked mare.  She's got lots of power.  Her pedigree includes multiple greats such as (on the top) DOC OLENA, DOC DOLL - NCHA Money Earner & APHA ROM Cutting, SKY BUG BINGO - APHA Champion & APHA ROM Cutting, and (on the bottom) DOCS JACK FROST - AQHA Champion, MR GUN SMOKE - NCHA, NRCHA, and NRHA Hall of Fame, POCO SPEEDY - AQHA Champion & NCHA Money Earner.

Pepper's sire, Cee Little Olena, is a super nice gray AQHA stallion.  He is an own son of RED DOC.  His grandsire on the top is DOC OLENA - NCHA Futurity Champion.  His grandsire on his dam's side is SON OFA DOC.  Cee Little Olena is a double bred DOC BAR stud.  Has has many other great in his pedigree like POCO LENA and CEE BAR BADGER and has tons of foundation breeding.

Pepper is bred to have tons of cow along with quickness and agility.

This colt's barn name is "Kona Kid".  His dam, DONTSKIPTHEBARONESS, is a double bred Zippo Pine Bar mare out of Dont Skip Zip and his sire, CEE LITTLE OLENA, is own son of Red Doc and grandson of Doc O'Lena, Maguey Girl, Son ofa Doc, and Cee Little Angel.

As a performance horse and relating to his pedigree, I think Kona's surprising background will contribute to an extremely even tempered, cowy horse. He's big boned and is a large colt. I can't wait to see what he'll grow in to.

He's beautiful. Kona may be gray as an adult although it may be too soon to tell right now.  He will be an all around prospect and will be a talented performance horse possibly in roping, ranch, and cow events.  Kona will be extremely well mannered and even tempered as all of Skip's babies have been and will have the right conformation for performance as well as the cowyness and athleticism his sire passes on to his offspring.
